The sales advisor was friendly and helpful. She was also able to work with my schedule. James, the service provider, was efficient and responsive to a request for an additional product.

This group misrepresented the product, installed it poorly, left the jobsite an unholy mess, complained about doing work they had agreed to do, tried to force an additional sale through what looks like a classic bait & switch tactic, and generally made every effort to take advantage of an elderly customer - all characteristics of a sleazy operation.
Company response:
Note we did the following;
Extended a 15% discount at the point of sale. Padded and framed out one opening at no additional cost. General contractors charge between $400-$600 to do this. The day of the install you made a phone call to our office as the technician arrived and you were asking for unreasonable request. There were items in the way that were not moved out and as a courtesy we move them for you. Normally if the garage is not clean and free of all items we charge to come back at a later date. You requested that we install the tracks of the garage door on the insides of the framing so that the door would sit on your driveway rather than on your dirt floor of your barn which cannot be physically or mechanically done. Each and every garage door installed sits on the inside of the jams and on the inside of the floor. We removed a 500 pound sliding door. Although this was not done the same day as the installation the technician returned with a skill saw to cut the door in half and gladly remove it. There were heavy cast iron water tubs in the way of one of the openings that needed to be moved. all the rakes, shovels, and years of clutter were moved that were interfering with installation of both garage doors. All this had been taken into consideration since you were elderly and we went above and beyond what we are required to do. My senior technician returned the following day and straightened out your water tubs. Your next concern was with at the bar lock was too hard for you to operate. At that time the tech made slight adjustments and your complaint was it was still to hard for you to turn the Barlock. At that time my suggestion to you was to install an automatic garage door opener so that you would not struggle with lifting or operating the manual door and lock system. This is not a force sale tactic or bait and switch. After I made that suggestion you sent me an email saying that you were able to now operate the bar locks. With each return trip we respected your wishes and completed everything that you had asked to be done free of charge. My technicians have a minimum 10 years experience in the industry and for what it's worth it seems you were just looking for something to pick apart starting with the second the technician arrived. The doors are 100% fully functional and we as a company stand behind our products and warranties! All the best.
